<strong>Job Summary</strong><br><br>Lone Star Training Center is seeking a dependable, professional, and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and assist with school district, employer and organization partnerships and enrollment activities. This role requires a high level of professionalism in all communications and interactions, while providing administrative support, customer service, and outreach to schools and businesses regarding certification programs.<br><br>
</div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul>
<li>Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner </li>
<li>Respond to inquiries from students, customers, and prospective customers with professionalism and timeliness (phone, email, and in person) </li>
<li>Provide general office support including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance </li>
<li>Schedule appointments, meetings, and virtual presentations while maintaining a professional calendar and communication process </li>
<li>Maintain accurate and organized records of student inquiries, enrollments, and business contacts </li>
<li>Assist with intake and enrollment paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness </li>
<li>Discuss certification programs with school districts and businesses to identify student enrollment opportunities </li>
<li>Identify and engage businesses to offer employee upskilling through certification programs </li>
<li>Conduct virtual presentations to promote programs in a professional and polished manner </li>
<li>Follow up on inquiries and assist with closing enrollments </li>
<li>Support coordination of classes, events, and program logistics </li>
</ul><div><strong>Basic Requirements</strong></div><ul>
<li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel </li>
<li>Strong communication and customer service skills </li>
<li>Demonstrated professionalism in verbal, written, and in-person interactions </li>
<li>Reliable and able to work during office hours 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; 1 hour lunch break 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. </li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment </li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy </li>
<li>Reliable transportation required</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul>
<li>High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred</li>
<li>Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position</li>
<li>Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects</li>
</ul><div><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></div><ul>
<li>Compensation: $15/hr</li>
<li>Benefits: This position does not include employer sponsored benefits</li>
