About the role

Overview of team purpose

Business Marketing is a large and diverse team of expert marketers. We provide the Grow London directorate and London Convention Bureau team with comprehensive marketing services. We engage and inspire business audiences to choose London and London & Partners. Our work includes marketing strategy and planning, creative campaigns and 'always on' marketing, lead generation, event collateral, marketing insights and reporting. Target audiences include high-growth London-based companies seeking international expansion, international companies ready to set up in London and event organisers.

Purpose of the role

To support delivery of B2B marketing strategies that are data-led, results focussed, cost effective and meet London & Partners’ needs.


To deliver a range of creative marketing activities related to a range of business products and services.


To work in a fast paced and collaborative environment, delivering impactful marketing across events, digital and print.


Working with the manager and wider business marketing team, to curate and create content for B2B channels and via London & Partners’ extensive networks including partners, stakeholders and business influencers.


To collaborate with internal and external contacts to ensure marketing output aligns to wider organisational plans, is effective, on brand and high quality.


Key Tasks

  • Depending on activity, to manage or assist with the delivery of innovative, impactful marketing tasks from inception through to evaluation.
  • Work closely with the wider team to scope, create or commission, and distribute content which is informed by audience insight and meets business needs via owned, earned, paid and partner channels.
  • Provide professional and efficient marketing support for all business activities, events and trade shows, including producing the marketing for each event such as messaging, copywriting, collateral production and event dressing.


Be a workstream lead, including planning and taking responsibility for delivery, of one or more marketing areas, for example:


  • Be the marketing point person for an allocated business unit over a portfolio of exhibitions, partner events and site visits.
  • Day-to-day management of business social media channels and a WhatsApp group, working with Social Media Lead to understand audience, channel and content goals.
  • Lead on the creation of London & Partners business newsletters and track performance.
  • Liaise with design team on production of campaign materials.
  • Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager


You’ll have/bring

  • Marketing skills and experience preferably within a B2B setting and including digital
  • An understanding of social media (e.g. LinkedIn, X) and email marketing
  • Analytical skills with ability to interpret data to inform strategy
  • Good organisation, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Collaboration skills
  • A flexible approach to work and a can-do attitude
  • Good writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Hands-on skills in all or most of the following: PowerPoint, Excel, Google Analytics, Social Media tools and CRM – and willingness to develop these further
  • Website CMS experience is a bonus
