<div>Barista / Cashier — Morning & Evening Shifts</div><div>Location: Newport Beach, CA</div><div>Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time</div><div>Compensation: Based on experience</div><div>About the Role</div><div>We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and service-driven Barista/Cashier to join our team. This</div><div>role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in great customer</div><div>service, and can confidently handle both barista tasks and register operations.</div><div>Responsibilities</div><div>• Prepare espresso drinks, teas, and café beverages following house standards</div><div>• Greet guests, take orders, and provide warm, attentive customer service</div><div>• Operate POS system accurately, handle cash and card transactions</div><div>• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including bar, pastry case, and dining area</div><div>• Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties</div><div>• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures</div><div>• Support team members to keep service smooth during peak hours</div><div>Required Qualifications</div><div>• Morning and evening availability (must be able to work both AM and PM shifts as needed)</div><div>• Valid California Food Handler Card</div><div>• Completed Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (CA-compliant)</div><div>• Basic barista experience (espresso dialing, milk steaming, drink building)</div><div>• Customer service experience in a café, restaurant, or similar environment</div><div>• Cash handling experience with accuracy and accountability</div><div>• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude</div><div>• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs</div><div>Preferred (Not Required)</div><div>• Experience in a high-volume café & familiarity with specialty coffee standards</div><div>• Bilingual (English/Spanish)</div>
