Role Description The Logistics Trainer will deliver classroom and practical training in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Kochi campus in a full-time, on-site capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating curriculum aligned with current industry practices, preparing lesson plans, and teaching learners using engaging, activity-based methods. The role involves assessing learner performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback, and offering academic mentoring and career guidance. The trainer will collaborate with other faculty and industry partners to integrate case studies, real-world tools, and guest sessions into the program, and support placement activities by helping learners build job-ready skills and professional behavior.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, warehousing, transportation, and inventory control, with practical industry exposure.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom delivery for vocational or professional training programs.
- Ability to use digital tools for teaching, including presentations, learning management systems, and basic data analysis or reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
- Demonstrated skills in learner assessment, feedback, mentoring, and classroom management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior teaching or corporate training experience in logistics or allied domains is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and placement teams and maintain strong industry connections for continuous curriculum improvement.
