Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district. This role is responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations, including tracking shipments, managing inventory movements, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain processes, handle documentation for domestic and export activities, and resolve logistics-related issues. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring order fulfillment, maintaining accurate records in logistics systems, communicating with vendors and customers regarding shipment status, and supporting compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves analyzing logistics data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients, and to resolve shipment and service issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, track performance metrics, and support decision-making for process improvements.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management to manage inventory flows, support procurement and distribution activities, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Export processes to handle documentation, comply with international trade regulations, and coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents.
- Relevant skills such as proficiency in MS Excel or logistics software, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in logistics or operations.
