Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation
- Plan and manage dispatch schedules in coordination with plant, procurement, and sales teams
- Monitor warehouse operations including inventory management, stock accuracy, and space utilization
- Ensure seamless movement of raw materials and finished goods across locations
- Manage transporter relationships, negotiations, and performance evaluations
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in logistics operations
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and handle escalations efficiently
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs
- Lead and develop the logistics team, ensuring high productivity and accountability
Key Requirements:
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations or equivalent
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in logistics, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of transportation management and warehouse operations
- Experience in handling multi-location logistics operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
