🚀 Hiring: Logistics Senior Executive | Kolkata
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Senior Executive to join our team and strengthen supply chain operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can ensure smooth coordination from port to customer.
🔹 Position Overview
The Logistics Senior Executive will play a critical role in managing end-to-end shipment movement and ensuring seamless communication across teams. The role requires strong ownership, quick decision-making, and the ability to handle time-sensitive logistics operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Act as the central point of communication between quality teams at various ports, internal departments, and external buyers
Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient shipment movement
Identify and resolve logistical bottlenecks or delays proactively
Provide regular shipment updates to buyers and maintain accurate records
Coordinate with import and accounts teams for documentation, dispatch, and billing
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
Track inventory movement, vessel schedules, and port clearances
🔹 Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written & verbal)
Excellent problem-solving ability with a proactive approach
Basic working knowledge of Tally ERP
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
🔹 Preferred Industry Background
Candidates from Manufacturing or Trading (Agro / Food Business) will be preferred
🔹 Preferred Qualities
Experience in import/export or port-based logistics
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Strong stakeholder management skills
📍 Location: Kolkata
💰 Salary: Up to ₹45,000 per month
