Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Manager based in Chandrapur. The Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate the effective and efficient movement of goods and resources within and outside the organization. Responsibilities include managing supply chain operations, inventory management, transportation planning, vendor coordination, and ensuring supply chain compliance. The role also requires monitoring logistics performance, optimizing processes, and implementing strategies to improve cost-effectiveness and delivery timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Planning, and Inventory Coordination
- Strong skills in Vendor Management and Transportation Operations
- Experience in Process Optimization and Cost-Effective Logistics Solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with logistics software and tools
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulations in the logistics industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the manufacturing or steel industry is an added advantage
