Role Description
We are looking for a skilled specialist to manage and optimise our online book sales operations across marketplace platforms, internal inventory systems (ILS), and third-party logistics providers. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless system integration, accurate inventory tracking, and efficient order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and optimise marketplace listings (catalogue, pricing, inventory, orders)
• Integrate and maintain synchronisation between marketplace platforms and ILS (Inventory/Library System)
• Coordinate with logistics partners for shipping, tracking, and returns
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve stock discrepancies
• Oversee order processing and ensure timely fulfilment
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues across systems
• Generate reports on sales performance, returns, and logistics efficiency
Required Skills
• Proven experience in managing marketplace-based eCommerce operations
• Experience with system integrations (APIs or middleware tools)
• Familiarity with third-party logistics workflows
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Understanding of inventory management systems
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in book/catalogue-heavy businesses (ISBN, metadata handling)
• Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make)
• Basic understanding of APIs/webhooks
