Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Executive based in Chennai. The Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, managing vendor and carrier relationships, and ensuring efficient inventory and warehouse management. The role will also include planning and coordinating shipments, optimizing logistics workflows, and monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory standards to ensure smooth operations. Collaborating with other teams and solving logistical challenges will be key aspects of the day-to-day duties.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in inventory management, shipment planning, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in vendor relationship management and contract negotiation skills.
- Analytical skills for tracking key metrics and optimizing logistics workflows.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations, documentation, and legal requirements in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and general IT skills for daily operations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred, but not mandatory.
