Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate with various logistics vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
2. Schedule and manage inward and outward supplies to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
3. Book vehicles for transporting goods both domestically and internationally, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reliability.
4. Manage export documentation including but not limited to invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
5. Coordinate with customs agents and freight forwarders to ensure smooth clearance of export shipments.
6. Book domestic and export shipments through various modes of transportation such as road, air, and sea freight.
7. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
8. Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
9. Coordinate with couriers for the timely delivery of samples, documents, and small parcels to customers and partners.
10. Collaborate with internal teams including production, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment on logistics requirements and priorities.
11. Continuously evaluate and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to transportation, import/export, and food safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in logistics coordination, preferably in the food manufacturing or exporting industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with logistics management software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements is desirable.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed to address urgent logistics issues or meet shipment deadlines.
