About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end inbound pickups and outbound dispatches. The role involves coordinating with warehouses, transporters, vendors, and 3PL partners to ensure timely, damage-free deliveries and smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
-Coordinate inbound pickups from vendors and manufacturing units.
-Manage reverse logistics, ensure timely placement of vehicles, verify purchase orders.
-Plan and execute daily outbound dispatches.
-Manage reverse logistics, including customer returns and warranty pickups.
-Coordinate vehicle placement and transporter operations.
-Prepare logistics documents (E-Way Bills, Invoices, LR/GR, Delivery Challans, Packing Lists).
-Liaise daily with 3PL partners, freight forwarders, and local transporters for vehicle placement and route planning.
-Track shipments, resolve transit issues, and maintain ERP records.
-Monitor transporter performance(KPIs) (OTD, POD, Vehicle Availability).
-Coordinate with the service provider in case of transit claims or damaged goods during pickup/dispatch
Qualifications & Requirements
-Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on logistics experience, preferably within the Consumer Durables, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, or Retail sectors.
-ERP Expertise: Hands-on experience working with ERP platforms (SAP SD/MM, Oracle, Tally) and TMS applications. [Desired, but not mandatory]
-Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of transport documentation (E-Way bills, GST compliance for logistics, LR/GR protocols).
Skills:
-Strong negotiation and transporter management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables for daily operational reports).
-Strong problem-solving ability during transit emergencies or dock delays.
Preferred Attributes
-Familiarity with regional & national freight networks and local & national transport hubs.
- -Experience in managing reverse logistics and handling delicate/heavy consumer appliance stock safely.
