Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Freight Broker at Shine Logistics. The Freight Broker will be responsible for sourcing and developing relationships with shippers, negotiating freight rates, coordinating shipments, managing accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service. They will also collaborate with dispatchers and carriers to ensure that shipments are handled efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with client requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage activities, including sourcing and negotiating with carriers
- Proficient Customer Service skills, with a strong focus on communication and relationship management
- Knowledge and experience in Dispatching and overseeing shipment coordination
- Account Management expertise, including maintaining and growing client relationships
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
- Proficiency in transportation management systems and related tools
