Senior DevOps Engineer

Role and Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement cloud infrastructure, automation, and scalable solutions using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native technologies - Collaborate with development teams to build, deploy, and manage high-performing, scalable, and secure applications - Automate and optimize infrastructure and deployment processes to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency - Monitor and maintain production environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance - Participate in incident response and on-call rotations to ensure the 24/7 availability of critical systems - Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve our infrastructure and processes - Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers to foster their growth and development Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management - Proficient in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.) - Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible - Expertise in monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack - Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation - Familiarity with security best practices and ability to implement secure infrastructure solutions - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Skills: - Experience with Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies - Familiarity with Istio, Knative, or other service mesh and serverless technologies - Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture - Experience with infrastructure monitoring and incident response - Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks like ISO, NIST, or SOC2 - Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC
