ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sound Recordist to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality location sound during shoots, interviews, live events, and studio productions while ensuring professional audio standards across all projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record clean and high-quality audio during shoots and productions
- Operate and maintain professional audio equipment including boom microphones, wireless systems, mixers, and recorders
- Coordinate with directors, cinematographers, and production teams for optimal sound capture
- Monitor audio levels and troubleshoot sound issues on set
- Sync and organize audio files for post-production workflows
- Maintain sound logs and backup recordings securely
- Ensure all equipment is properly tested before shoots
- Handle indoor and outdoor recording environments efficiently
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven experience as a Sound Recordist / Production Sound Mixer
- Strong understanding of audio recording techniques and acoustics
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
