Responsibilities
Software Implementation and Management
- Support and manage BPMS (business Process Management System) and other critical software systems.
- Manage software lifecycle, including updates, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Conduct requirement analysis, develop proposals, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee internal software development projects.
End User Engagement
- Engage with end-users to understand their requirements and challenges.
- Develop proposals based on end-user needs and ensure their feasibility.
- Conduct software testing and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and other hardware devices.
- Oversee the implementation and management of IT security measures.
- Ensure optimal performance and availability of IT systems.
Asset Management
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets.
- Implement efficient asset management processes to ensure the effective use of IT resources.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for asset acquisitions and disposals.
Security and Compliance
- Implement and manage IT security systems to protect organizational data.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Training and Support
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and policies.
- Ensure that users at the Palwal location adhere to IT policies and procedures.
- Extend IT support to other locations as necessary.
Audit and Compliance
- Conduct regular IT audits to ensure systems and processes comply with internal and external standards.
- Address any audit findings promptly.
- Ensure continuous improvement in IT processes to meet evolving standards.
Collaboration and Support
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation across all locations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
- Ensure consistent IT service delivery and support across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification: Master Degree in Computer Engineering (Software)
Required Work Experience
- 8+ years of experience in software and IT infrastructure management
- Others: Candidates having work experience with following shall be preferred.
- Steel & other relevant industries
- Governance requirement of industrial IT
