Role Description
The Localization Engineer will be responsible for preparing and managing multilingual content, ensuring compatibility and quality across diverse platforms and tools. Key tasks include analyzing localization requirements, optimizing workflows, maintaining translation memories, troubleshooting technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time remote role suitable for professionals passionate about enabling global content adaptation through technology and innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience in localization workflows, file preparation, and content integration
- Proficiency with localization tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ, or comparable software)
- Understanding of scripting or coding for process automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Knowledge of translation memory management and linguistic asset maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for technical localization challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with multilingual content optimization and QA processes
- Experience with global enterprises managing international projects is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred
