Local Delivery Manager (LDM) – Telecom / Network Delivery

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Local Delivery Manager (LDM) to manage end-to-end delivery of telecom/network service orders within a defined geographic region. The role requires strong
order lifecycle management, stakeholder coordination, and telecom domain expertise to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
The LDM will act as the
Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between customers, internal teams, and external vendors, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities 1. Order & Delivery Management
- Own the complete service order lifecycle from request validation to final handover
- Validate orders for technical and administrative accuracy
- Ensure timely execution of provisioning activities
- Scheduling & Implementation
- Define and manage:
- Target Delivery Date (TDD)
- Lead Time to Connect (LTC)
- Optimize delivery schedules to minimize delays and improve efficiency
- Carrier & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with local carriers and third-party vendors
- Manage ordering and tracking of:
- Circuits (local loops)
- Network equipment (routers, modems)
- Ensure services are delivered and operational as per SLA
- Testing & Service Acceptance
- Coordinate with technical teams for last-mile testing
- Ensure successful service validation and customer acceptance
- Support activation and handover processes
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as SPOC for customers and internal teams
- Provide regular status updates and reports
- Manage escalations proactively to avoid delays
- Team & Escalation Management
- Lead and support delivery teams across regions
- Act as escalation point for delivery-related issues
- Conduct training sessions and support adoption of new technologies
Key Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills - Strong understanding of telecom/network technologies:
- SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, DSL, Leased Lines
- Knowledge of telecom hardware:
- Routers, modems, CPE devices
Experience - 12–15+ years in:
- Telecom operations
- Network delivery / provisioning
- Project coordination
Certifications (Preferred)
Education - Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Telecommunications
- Engineering
- IT or related field
Soft Skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments
- Strong problem-solving and escalation handling capability
