</div><div>Little Scholars of Detroit is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Personnel team member. <br><br>
</div><div>Responsibilities</div><ul>
<li>Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of building systems, classrooms, offices, playgrounds, and outdoor areas.</li>
<li>Conduct regular inspections to identify and address safety, cleanliness, or maintenance concerns promptly.</li>
<li>Assist with plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, lighting, and general repair needs as assigned.</li>
<li>Ensure all indoor and outdoor areas are clean, safe, organized, and free from hazards.</li>
<li>Support classroom setup, furniture movement, event preparation, and facility organization.</li>
<li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, administration, and program leadership.</li>
<li>Maintain maintenance equipment, tools, and supply inventory while reporting replacement needs.</li>
<li>Assist with seasonal duties including snow removal, salting walkways, and outdoor maintenance.</li>
<li>Monitor heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and security systems for proper operation.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or facility projects.</li>
<li>Follow all Little Scholars of Detroit policies, OSHA safety standards, and Michigan childcare licensing regulations.</li>
<li>Support emergency preparedness efforts and ensure exits, hallways, and emergency routes remain clear at all times.</li>
<li>Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation preferred. </li>
<li>Ability to pass required background checks and comply with all childcare licensing requirements.</li>
