Android Platform Engineer

Mandatory Technical Skills: 1. Android development experience (Framework, Services, HAL, BSP in Android) 2. At least 2 years of experience in Automotive Android OS based Infotainment domain 3. Experience in Java, C, C++ development. Kotlin would be an advantage 4. Experience in Android Framework API & CAR Framework usage 5. Experience in AIDL/HIDL and HAL services implementation. 6. Experience in Android Security policies 7. Experience in Android Product/Device/Board Configuration and Setup 8. Good understanding and debugging skills of Android startup and initialization sequences 9. Good understanding of performance optimizations in Android 10. Tools – GIT, Gerrit, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Android Studio, Enterprise Architect (UML), VMWare, Coverity. Soft Skills 1. Good Communication Skills 2. Good Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment Optional Skills: 1. Knowledge and experience in CTS, VTS requirements and compatibility issue analysis 2. Knowledge of Google Test Framework and testing frameworks used in Android like Junit, Mockito. 3. Bluetooth, WIFI, Media domain expertise in Android Framework/Services 4. Exposure to Android 12 or higher 5. Expertise on Android AOSP build system 6. Experience in Android App development 7. Experience in Android Studio IDE development and debugging. Note: The candidate should be from the Automotive Industry.
