We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Manager & Contract Specialist with 6+ years of hands-on experience in litigation management and contract drafting. Based in Mumbai, this role will manage high-stakes litigation, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and provide strategic legal support to minimize risk and enable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end litigation, including strategy, filings, negotiations, settlements, and court appearances
- Liaise with police, courts, lawyers, and legal stakeholders to gather evidence and drive case progress
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, etc.)
- Advise internal stakeholders on compliance, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution
- Conduct investigations and extract critical information from all relevant sources
- Coordinate with external counsel and monitor litigation progress
- Prepare case updates and reports for senior management
- Conduct legal research and develop strategies for favorable outcomes
- Ensure compliance with Indian laws (Contract Act, CPC, Arbitration Act, etc.)
- Mentor junior team members and improve litigation and contract processes
Qualifications
- LLB from a recognized university (LLM preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in litigation management and contract drafting
- Proven experience handling cases from inception to resolution, including court representation
- Strong experience interacting with police, courts, and legal authorities
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills with strong risk assessment ability
- In-depth knowledge of Indian civil/criminal laws and dispute resolution mechanisms
- Bar Council of India membership
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; Marathi preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office and legal research tools (CaseMine, Manupatra, etc.)

- Experience managing complex and high-value litigation
- Fluency in Marathi for local stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
