Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Litigation Associate based in Chennai. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for drafting of Court documents, filing and following up numbering of matters, conducting legal research, managing depositions, and representing clients in court proceedings. Collaborating with other team members to ensure a high standard of legal representation and maintaining detailed case documentation are also key aspects of this role. The candidate will play an active role in providing strategic advice and solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Law and relevant legal principles
- Experience in drafting motions and conducting depositions
- Proficiency in legal research and analytical skills
- Familiarity with court procedures and case preparation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative office environment
- License to practice law in India
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
- Knowledge of Tamil and PQE of one (1) year is preferred but not mandatory
Compensation would be a fixed monthly salary along commensurate to experience and skill-set of the candidate and an incentive structure which would be discussed in the final round of interviews.
