About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced research professional to support evidence evaluation and scientific research initiatives within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. This role will contribute to projects that inform healthcare decision-making by identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing published clinical evidence across a variety of therapeutic areas.
The ideal candidate combines strong scientific research skills with the ability to independently analyze literature, generate actionable insights, and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive literature searches to identify relevant clinical and scientific publications.
- Perform systematic, targeted, and rapid evidence reviews based on project objectives.
- Screen publications against predefined eligibility criteria and document selection decisions.
- Extract, organize, and summarize study findings into structured evidence tables.
- Critically appraise published studies for methodological quality and potential bias.
- Prepare review protocols, search documentation, and research reports in accordance with accepted scientific standards.
- Support comparative evidence assessments for market access, reimbursement, clinical strategy, and value communication initiatives.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists, medical writers, statisticians, health economists, and project managers to deliver high-quality research outputs.
- Present findings internally and contribute to discussions that help shape evidence-based recommendations.
- Maintain awareness of evolving literature review methodologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Health Economics, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience conducting structured literature reviews, evidence synthesis, or clinical research.
- Working knowledge of systematic review methodologies and evidence appraisal techniques.
- Experience performing literature searches using biomedical databases such as PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, or similar research platforms.
- Familiarity with evidence evaluation frameworks, critical appraisal methods, and publication quality assessment.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret scientific evidence and communicate key findings effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting reimbursement, market access, comparative effectiveness research, or healthcare decision-making projects.
- Exposure to evidence synthesis methodologies, including quantitative or qualitative evidence integration.
- Knowledge of systematic review reporting standards and clinical research methodologies.
- Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, medical device, healthcare consulting, or research organizations.
- Familiarity with reference management and literature screening software is an advantage.
