About the Role

The HR Generalist role will be responsible for handling team member inquiries surrounding benefits, policies, procedures, etc.; facilitating employee relations conversations; conducting investigations, supporting HR managers; maintaining up to date policies across platforms; and assisting with various HR functions. They coordinate with the onboarding, talent acquisition, and data teams to ensure the HR department is supporting the Firm for continued growth.


Your Key Contributions


  • Serve as a point of contact for team members and leaders, addressing HR-related questions regarding policies, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and procedures for countries with remote EOR team members.
  • Assist in employee relations matters by conducting investigations including interviewing team members, documenting issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Act as a backup for onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes when needed to ensure a seamless team member experience, including facilitation of onboarding, presentation of orientation materials, and exit interviews.
  • Maintain and update records in HRIS system by performing data entry and recordkeeping duties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to implement and support policies, events/programs, initiatives, and best practices that promote a positive workplace culture across the Firm.
  • Assist in managing HR compliance for international/remote team members who are Rippling EOR (Employer of Record), specific to country labor laws, including compensable time (work schedules/timekeeping), workplace policies, and Firm guidelines.
  • Work with outside counsel and Rippling HR Advisors to ensure policy compliance with new workplace locations.
  • Oversee performance management during onboarding as well as support the annual review cycle.
  • Support culture coordinator and training team with training and engagement initiatives as needed.
  • Manage unemployment, workers’ compensation, state paid leave programs, etc. for all office and remote US locations.
  • Help support benefits administration, including open enrollment and team member inquiries.



What Makes You a Great Fit


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist or in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and with a high-level of discretion.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a high-growth environment.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.



Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
