<strong>ABOUT OUR AGENCY:<br></strong>I opened my agency in 1990 and currently lead a team of six. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked as a legislative assistant. Growing up in an insurance family—my father was an agent as well—I saw firsthand the opportunity this career offers and knew I wanted to build something of my own.<br><br>I have three adult sons, and outside of the office I enjoy staying active. I’m an avid hiker and even hiked Mount Kilimanjaro last year—an experience that reflects the kind of challenge and perseverance I value both personally and professionally.<br><br>I’m very involved in the community. My golden retriever and I volunteer at schools and hospitals, and I also spend time teaching English to Spanish speakers and mentoring children from single-parent homes. Giving back and making a difference is an important part of who I am.<br>Our agency offers health insurance after 90 days, Simple IRA, licensing reimbursement, work-life balance, external coaching, and ongoing team training. I also provide lunch during team meetings as a way to bring everyone together and stay connected.<br><br>This is a sales-focused environment, and I’m looking for someone who is driven, competitive, and motivated by performance. <strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> </div><ul>
<li>Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.</li>
<li>Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.</li>
<li>Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.</li>
<li>Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.</li>
<li>Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.</li>

<strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> </div><ul>
<li>Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.</li>
<li>Communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Organizational and multitasking abilities.</li>
<li>Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.</li>
