Job Description
We’re Hiring: Linux System Administrator
We are looking for Linux System Administrator to manage and support our Linux-based infrastructure in a dynamic web hosting environment. If you have strong troubleshooting abilities and experience with hosting technologies, we would love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers in a web hosting environment
- Install and manage services such as Apache, MySQL, Exim, DNS, and related web technologies
- Perform server security hardening, patch management, and security audits
- Monitor server performance, hardware health, and infrastructure alerts
- Analyze system, application, and mail logs to troubleshoot issues
- Provide Level I technical support via helpdesk and phone
- Troubleshoot cPanel/WHM and Plesk control panel issues
- Maintain documentation and update internal knowledge base systems
- Participate in infrastructure improvements, monitoring enhancements, and workflow optimization
- Support 24x7 operations responsibilities when necessary
Location: Nashik
Experience: 1 to 3 Years (Relevant experience in Linux Administration)
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration
- Advanced knowledge of cPanel/WHM and Plesk
- Experience with Apache, MySQL, Exim, DNS, and mail server configuration
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking (LAN/WAN)
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and SLA management
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
