Hiring: Linux Desktop Support Engineer (Ubuntu) – Job Support
We are looking for an experienced IT Help Desk Engineer to support end-user Ubuntu/Linux systems (not server-side work).
⭐ Must-Have (Mandatory Skills):
• IT Help Desk experience (L1/L2 support)
• Strong Ubuntu Linux knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Slack (daily communication)
• Ubuntu/Linux desktop troubleshooting
• Experience with ticketing tools: Jira / ServiceNow
• NinjaOne (device management)
• CrowdStrike (endpoint security)
• JumpCloud / Cloudflare (nice to have)
🔹 Key Skills Required:
• Ability to resolve:
- Login / access issues
- Software installation
- Permissions & user setup
- System performance issues
Responsibilities:
• Handle daily user tickets (L1/L2 support)
• Resolve desktop-level Linux issues
• Support end users (not backend/server work)
• Coordinate with team via Slack
• Ensure quick resolution and SLA compliance
