Job details:
Company Description Aria Networks, Inc. builds “Networks that Think,” advancing the next frontier in AI-driven networking through fine-grain telemetry, AI, and cloud technologies. The company focuses on moving beyond deterministic automation toward probabilistic, intuitive intelligence that can act at millisecond resolution on telemetry at microsecond granularity. This approach delivers performance improvements of 100–10,000x over typical networking solutions. Aria’s AI-optimized hardware and Aria Cluster Software support NeoCloud customers scaling from a few GPUs to 100,000+ and consistently deliver over 10x ROI on network investments. Team members collaborate on cutting-edge solutions for large-scale, high-performance AI infrastructure.
Role Description The Linux BSP Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam. The individual in this role will design, develop, and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) for Linux-based systems used in AI-optimized network hardware. Daily responsibilities include configuring and customizing Linux kernels, integrating device drivers, and optimizing system performance and reliability for various hardware platforms. The engineer will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to debug complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust fixes. Additional tasks include documenting configurations, maintaining build and deployment workflows, and supporting production infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operation.
Qualifications
- Strong Linux System Administration and general System Administration skills to manage and optimize Linux-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with the Linux Kernel, including configuration, customization, and integration with hardware-specific components.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex system and hardware-software integration issues, including root cause analysis and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts for large-scale, high-performance computing or networking systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining BSPs or low-level software for embedded or server-class hardware.
- Proficient in C/C++ and shell scripting; familiarity with Python or similar languages is an advantage.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for system software builds.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and hardware interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, GPUs, accelerators) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
