Linux Administrator – Job Description
Role: Linux Administrator
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Linux Administrator responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers. The candidate should ensure system stability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot server issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
- Perform system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Monitor logs and resolve system-related problems.
- Ensure system backups and disaster recovery processes.
- Work with networking, storage, and application teams to maintain server availability.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
- Experience with shell scripting and command line.
- Understanding of networking, file systems, and security.
- Familiarity with tools like Ansible or Puppet is an added advantage.
Experience: 1–5 years (or as per requirement)

- 3 years of Cooling period of exp-Wipro employee.
- Only BE/B.Tech/M. Tech/MBA/MCA/MSc/PhD degree to be considered. No BSC/BCA/BBA/BA/BCom candidate to be sourced
- Rotational shift with work from office 5-6 Days.
- Work Location – Client SBI- Belapur.
- Only immediate required. No candidate with 60 days, 90 days or negotiable candidate shall be shared.
