Role Description The Line Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the manufacturing line. This role includes planning and monitoring workflow, assigning tasks, and ensuring that production targets are met in alignment with quality and safety standards. The Line Supervisor coordinates with production staff, resolves operational issues, and supports continuous improvement of processes and productivity. They also ensure adherence to quality control and quality assurance procedures, maintain accurate production records, and report performance metrics to management. Additional responsibilities include training and guiding team members, promoting safe work practices, and supporting efficient use of materials and resources.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with quality control and quality assurance processes in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with production staff, management, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to conduct on-the-job training, coach team members, and support skill development.
- Prior experience in bag manufacturing, packaging, or related production lines is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in industrial settings.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on meeting production deadlines.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a vocational or technical qualification in manufacturing or industrial management is an advantage.
