Job description
The Production Line Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing daily
production floor operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are
met. The role involves production planning, supervising shop-floor activities,
maintaining quality control, and leading teams to achieve operational targets. The
position also focuses on training employees, resolving workplace issues, and driving
continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet output targets
Supervise production processes and ensure smooth line operations
Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to quality standards
Operate and guide teams on machine handling and troubleshooting
Train team members and maintain a productive work environment
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management teams
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Production Management
Hands-on experience in machine operation
Good communication and team coordination skills
Experience in training operators/workers
Knowledge of safety protocols and quality assurance systems
Educational Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR
BE in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Required
3 to 5 years in production/manufacturing industry
Experience in handling production teams preferred
