Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Line & Base Maintenance Aircraft Engineer (B1.3/ Bell 412 Cat C). The responsibilities include:
- 1. Complying with GIRAM policy and procedures;
- 2. Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of engines and mechanical systems on GIRAM BELL 412 EP fleet;
- 3. Participating in purchasing special tools for routine maintenance and components repair & overhaul;
- 4. Performing maintenance disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft components;
- 5. Testing aircraft operations to identify malfunctions;
- 6. Communicating with the pilots to find out any problems with the parts or systems in the aircrafts:
- 7. Preparing and maintaining reports of the maintenance activities and scheduling maintenance for aircrafts;
- 8. Establishing maintenance work tasks and conducting timely disposition of SBs and ADs as required;
- 9. Developing and implementing fleet and maintenance reliability measures and operational parameters;
- 10. Working with the GIRAM Management on manpower requirements, budget estimates and personnel performance;
- 11. Providing oversight, technical assistance, training, and supervision during the routine, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance;
- 12. Preparing training modules and conducting training for GIRAM personnel on maintenance duties of aircraft airframe & Powerplant systems;
- 13. Making recommendations on where appropriate on additional improvements on tooling, equipment, training, and procedures;
- 14. Reviewing of spare parts inventories and making recommendations on the appropriate
- stocking levels.
- 15. Supervising, evaluating, and training by formal classroom and OJT, mechanics to ensure they are suitable for the tasks they are asked to perform on the aircraft;
- 16. Logging of daily activities and summarizing into a weekly report provided to the GIRAM commander;
- 17. Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing any other task as required.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Aircraft Maintenance, including diagnosis, inspection, and repair activities
- In-depth knowledge of Aircraft and Aircraft Systems
- Possession of a Type Rating for Bell 412 aircraft
- Strong background in Aeronautics and its practical applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance instructions
- Valid certification or license as a B1.3 or Bell 412 Cat C Aircraft Engineer
- Proficiency in ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards and regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in line and base maintenance operations is an advantage
