SHOP CUSTODIAN
Overview
The Shop Custodian is responsible for maintaining an aesthetically clear and functional shop.
Responsibilities
Includes, but is not limited to,
- Assists technicians with a variety of jobs
- Keeps shop bays organized and clean of debris & trash
- Unloads and repairs a variety of equipment
- Empties shop trash into dumpster
- Assists with restocking equipment
- Reports any maintenance issues the supervisor
- Responsible for clearing trash and debris from inside and outside the shop
Candidate Knowledge
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Small engine repair experience (preferred)
- Maintenance experience (preferred)
- Must be able to take initiative to complete tasks and solve problems
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds (required)
