Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Events & Partnerships Manager to lead all aspects of event production and marketing strategies for lil sweet treat in LA. This role will oversee event preparation and execution, manage store branding efforts, plan holiday initiatives, coordinate Candy Connoisseur Club events, and steer social media engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Preparation & Design
- Develop and manage event themes, décor concepts, and non-candy goods.
- Collaborate with vendors/partners to ensure high-quality, on-brand materials.
- Event Execution
- Coordinate event logistics, including cart preparation, delivery, and staffing.
- Oversee on-site operations to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Client Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our sweet event clients from inquiry to completion.
- Provide professional guidance on event design, candy selections, and special requests.
- Holiday Initiatives
- Plan and execute seasonal promotions and store displays.
- Collaborate with teams to maximize customer engagement during key holidays.
- Candy Connoisseur Club Events
- Conceptualize and execute tastings and exclusive events for club members.
- Work closely with the store team to curate candy assortments and manage invitations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in PR, marketing, or brand management (retail or hospitality background preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and marketing tools (email automation, analytics, Canva).
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., Photoshop) is a major plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for unique, memorable customer experiences.
