Product Designer, Tempo

As Senior Product Designer you will collaborate and deliver UX experiences across the Hospitality product team that businesses will find useful and engaging. The ideal candidate is an experienced UX Designer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with complex, interconnected problems. You're able to set UX goals, direction and strategy that empowers your team with clarity and purpose. You build trust-based relationships across disciplines and leverage diverse perspectives to deeply understand and improve how your team ships impactful work. Lead high-level project work from a design perspective with autonomy and authority, facilitating design studios and working sessions to help the teams deliver the best possible solutions. Leverage your UX expertise and understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users complete a task. Turn nebulous concepts into specific ideas that are useful and delightful end-to-end digital product experiences. Design holistic systems, flows and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly. Understand how to best use the current design system to ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to its continuous improvement. Draw insights from research and data, and know how to turn those insights into tangible solutions. Build relationships and advocate for the user when collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and marketing. Oversee the UX from conception to launch. Be a positive role model and culture carrier within the design team as well as an advocate for design within the Lightspeed organization.
