Position Summary
The Data Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams. This position is responsible for building, maintaining, and governing reporting solutions that provide trusted visibility into operational performance, production metrics, and business outcomes.
The role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define metrics, establish standards, automate reporting, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The Data Analyst is expected to operate with a high level of ownership, influencing how data is used across the organization while supporting continued growth and operational scale.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Reporting
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated analytics solutions to support operational, engineering, and executive decision-making.
- Establish and maintain standard definitions, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and trust in data.
- Develop and enhance MIS and operational reporting to provide visibility into performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
Data Management & Governance
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and quality across all reporting outputs.
- Document data sources, assumptions, definitions, and methodologies to support transparency and scalability.
- Partner with technical teams to improve data pipelines, automation, and reliability.
Business Partnership
- Act as a strategic analytics partner to Engineering, Construction, Operations, and leadership teams.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support ad-hoc analysis, forecasting, and deep-dive investigations as needed.
Process Improvement & Enablement
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and automate recurring analysis.
- Support analytic maturity by enabling stakeholders with insights, documentation, and best practices.
- Contribute to the evolution of analytics standards and long-term reporting strategy.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (or Google Sheets).
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Sigma Computing.
- Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and deliver insights that drive action.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, telecommunications, or operations-focused organizations.
- Experience with Python or similar tools for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with data governance, KPI standardization, and reporting best practices.
- Experience working in fast-paced, scaling environments.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in Colorado. The pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is $90,000 - $100,000/year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance with Colorado law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
