Role Description:
- Manage and coordinate application design internally, as well as externally with clients and third parties.
- Coordinate projects with Architects and Clients both on-site and remotely.
- Oversee lighting project management and site coordination.
- Create lighting concept presentations and edit 3D renderings to show simulated lighting scenes of the design intent.
- Develop lighting drawings on CAD from plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Calculate luminous output and intensity of the lighting system, and make layout plans, working drawings, and documentation of the lighting applications.
- Perform lighting simulations using Dialux Evo and Photoshop for presentations, reports, and design validation.
- Continuously research new lighting solutions and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completed university education (diploma, bachelor's, or master's) with a preference for lighting design, Electrical engg/diploma or architecture.
- Experience: Two to three years of professional experience in lighting design and/or architecture, MEP Consultant ideally within a studio environment.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign & Photoshop), AutoCAD, Dialux, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Communication: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to inspire stakeholders and drive project success.
