Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior and Senior Lighting Designers, based in Kochi / Bengaluru, with the flexibility to work from home on certain occasions. The Lighting Designer will conceptualize and develop innovative lighting designs, coordinate with architects and interior designers, and create project-specific lighting plans. Key responsibilities include preparing design presentations, specifying lighting products and controls, and ensuring compliance with current standards and client requirements. At a senior role, he/she shall have demonstratable experience in driving design across teams and ensuring deliverables, Quality control and employee assessment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lighting Design and Architectural Lighting principles
- Experience with Lighting Controls, standards, and technologies
- Knowledge of Interior Design, landscapes and Architecture and its integration with lighting solutions
- Strong understanding of dynamic and functional lighting applications
- Attention to detail and ability to translate client requirements into creative design solutions
- Familiarity with tools such as BIm, Dialux, AutoCAD, or other lighting design software
- Relevant educational qualifications in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
