About the role
LightFury Games is seeking a passionate and creative Junior Game Designer to join our team in creating groundbreaking AAA games. As part of the design team, you will contribute to the development of engaging game mechanics, levels, and experiences using Unreal Engine. If you have a keen eye for game design and a strong understanding of player experiences, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior designers to create compelling gameplay mechanics, levels, and features.
Assist in the design and iteration of game concepts, including player progression, balancing, and overall game flow.
Implement and test game features within Unreal Engine to ensure they meet design goals and provide an engaging player experience.
Work closely with artists, programmers, and other departments to ensure design vision is executed effectively.
Analyze gameplay feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve the game’s overall experience.
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new design ideas and technologies.
Must-Have Skills:
1-2 years of experience in game design, preferably within the gaming industry.
Proficiency in Unreal Engine for game design and feature implementation.
Strong understanding of game mechanics, level design, and player engagement principles.
Experience with blueprints or scripting in Unreal to prototype and implement features.
Creative thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
Passion for video games and creating engaging player experiences.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working on AAA game titles.
Familiarity with multiplayer mechanics and online game design.
Knowledge of UX/UI principles in game design.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work collaboratively in a team environment.
