If you're passionate about storytelling, showing users the value of a product, and taking a hands-on approach to launches, we’d love for you to join us as our Founding Product Marketer. In this role, you’ll be shaping how we talk about our product and making sure it connects with our users. You’ll work closely with the product, growth, and design teams to bring new features to life and help people get the most out of what we offer. You’ll be at the heart of how we grow, from launching new updates to keeping the momentum going. Areas of Responsibility: Champion user success: You’ll translate our product’s features into stories that help users see the value of Lightdash. From product launches to ongoing updates, you’ll craft messaging that connects. Be the Lightdash voice: As the go-to expert, you’ll stay on top of new features and ensure we’re communicating effectively through all channels, from blog posts to webinars. Create engaging content: You’ll produce tutorials, demos, and thought leadership pieces that educate and excite users about best practices in analytics. Drive go-to-market strategy: You’ll own the product marketing strategy, working with sales, product, and customer success to boost adoption and growth. Requirements: Experience having established/been part of establishing product marketing as a function in a B2B SaaS business Deep experience owning positioning and messaging for a product or line of products with a high level of complexity Proven track record of partnering with Sales to generate and convert pipelines through effective sales enablement and funnel nurturing Strong verbal and written communication skills KPIs owned by the role: Product Adoption: Increase in user adoption and engagement post-product launch. Lead Generation: Number of qualified leads generated through product marketing initiatives. Customer Feedback: Positive customer feedback and satisfaction ratings related to product messaging and positioning. Sales Enablement: Improved sales performance, as evidenced by shorter sales cycles and increased conversion rates. Content Performance: Engagement metrics for content, including traffic, shares, and conversion rates from marketing materials. Market Awareness: Growth in brand awareness and market share within target segments.
