Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lifting Rigging Expert based in Bhatapara, Chattisgarh. LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL GET FIRST PREFERENCE.
The Lifting Rigging Expert will plan, supervise, and execute lifting and rigging operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, legal requirements, and client procedures. Daily responsibilities include inspecting lifting equipment and accessories, assessing loads, selecting appropriate rigging methods, and coordinating with crane operators and site supervisors to carry out safe lifting activities. The role involves preparing and reviewing lifting plans, conducting risk assessments, and documenting inspections and operational records. The Lifting Rigging Expert will also provide on-the-job guidance and training to workers, support incident investigations, and collaborate with Pentasafe trainers to enhance rigging-related course content and practical demonstrations.
Deliverables
Review of Drawing to check safe work load
*Define Framework and review SOP for all types of Jobs
*Ensure and supervise erection as per drawing.
*Randomly checking of lifting and rigging tools at site
*Inspection of tools and atckles at ste and ensure for fit for use equipments at site
*Training to contractor workforce
*Lifting plan preparation at site
Reporting of all NCR and compliance
Submission of weekly report
Qualifications
COMPULSORY VALID LEEA CERTIFICATION please donot apply if you dont have that certificate
- Strong technical expertise in lifting operations, rigging and slinging practices, load calculations, and equipment selection.
- Hands-on experience with cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, and other lifting accessories, including inspection, maintenance, and rejection criteria.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant safety standards, codes of practice, and regulatory requirements for industrial lifting and rigging.
- Ability to develop and interpret lifting plans, risk assessments, method statements, and site safety procedures.
- Effective communication and coaching skills for guiding site personnel and delivering practical safety instructions.
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for dynamic worksite conditions.
- Prior experience in industrial safety training or mentoring in construction, manufacturing, or heavy industry is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications or training in rigging, lifting operations, or industrial safety; diploma or degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in demanding physical environments.
Job working hours - 12 hour shift
IMMEDIATE JOINERS ONLY
SALARY- Maximum 70-80k a month (can go higher if you dont require stay)
