Job Title: Liferay Developer

Job Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions tailored to meet specific business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance various components across systems and applications.
Your day-to-day activities will include working with modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that contribute to the success of business-critical projects. The role requires hands-on experience in Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) along with strong web development knowledge.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work independently and progressively become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Liferay development.
- Actively participate and contribute in team discussions and project planning.
- Provide solutions to technical and development-related challenges.
- Assist in documenting software specifications, architecture, and design.
- Develop and enhance application components using Liferay DXP and related technologies.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver scalable and high-performing applications.
- Support continuous improvement of development processes using agile methodologies.
Required Skills (Must Have)
- Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) development experience.
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with backend technologies and frameworks relevant to Liferay.
- Familiarity with database management systems and data modeling.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
- Work Location: Bengaluru.
- Education: 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
