Its Livelihood Programme connects young people to sustainable job opportunities through sector-specific training, placements, and post-placement support, while the Entrepreneurship Development Programme mentors young entrepreneurs from underserved communities. Role Description The Life and Digital Literacy Skills Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in North Delhi. The trainer will deliver structured sessions on life skills, soft skills, and digital literacy to adolescents and young adults, using engaging, learner-centered methods. Responsibilities include planning and facilitating training modules, creating and updating learning materials, and using digital tools and platforms to build participants’ basic and advanced digital competencies. The trainer will assess learners’ progress, maintain accurate training records, and provide guidance and mentorship to support their educational and livelihood pathways. The role also involves coordinating with program staff, schools, and community stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of Magic Bus programmes and participation of eligible youth.
Qualifications
- Strong Training & Development and Presentation Skills, with experience delivering group sessions to adolescents and young adults.
- Expertise in Life Skills and Soft Skills training, including areas such as problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and decision-making.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse learners and stakeholders.
- Competence in digital literacy, including use of computers, mobile devices, internet applications, and basic office software.
- Prior experience in education, youth development, or community-based programmes is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Humanities, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in North Delhi, manage multiple batches, and adapt training styles to different learning needs.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; familiarity with local languages is an added advantage.
