Position Overview:-
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technology-driven LiDAR Engineer to join our geospatial and engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing, analyzing, and managing LiDAR datasets while supporting mapping, surveying, infrastructure, and 3D modeling projects. This role requires expertise in MicroStation, LiDAR Data Processing, and spatial data analysis with a strong focus on accuracy, innovation, and project delivery excellence.
The candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capability to work with large-scale geospatial datasets in a fast-paced environment.

Job Role & Responsibilities: -
- Process, classify, and analyze LiDAR point cloud data.
- Generate DEM, DTM, DSM, contours, and terrain models.
- Perform feature extraction, utility mapping, and QA/QC checks.
- Interpret aerial and terrestrial LiDAR data for mapping and engineering projects.
- Use MicroStation for drafting and LiDAR-based mapping outputs.
- Create and modify CAD and geospatial models.
- Convert point cloud data into CAD/GIS deliverables
Skills:
· Strong hands-on experience in MicroStation.
· Expertise in LiDAR Data Processing and Analysis.
· Knowledge of point cloud classification and feature extraction techniques.
· Familiarity with GIS and mapping software.
· Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and geospatial data formats.
· Experience in terrain modeling and contour generation.
· Knowledge of CAD drafting and engineering mapping standards.
· Ability to perform QA/QC for geospatial datasets.
Qualification: -
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geography, Remote Sensing, GIS, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in LiDAR, GIS, CAD, or Remote Sensing will be an added advantage.
