We are looking for a skilled LiDAR Data Processing Specialist to join our geospatial team at Fervent Technologies. This is a purely office-based data-processing role—no field or survey work involved. You will work on raw point cloud datasets to produce high-quality 3D deliverables for infrastructure, construction, and urban mapping projects.
Key Responsibilities
Import, clean and process raw LiDAR point cloud data from aerial, mobile and terrestrial platforms. Perform point cloud registration, geo-referencing and noise filtering. Classify point clouds (ground, vegetation, buildings, utilities) per project standards. Generate DTM, DSM, TIN surface models, contours and intensity rasters. Perform feature extraction and produce final deliverables (LAS/LAZ, shapefiles, DWG). Conduct QA/QC checks on processed data to meet accuracy specifications. Support Scan-to-BIM workflows by preparing clean point clouds for modelling teams.

Qualifications
B.Tech / M.Tech in Geomatics, Remote Sensing, Civil Engg. or related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on LiDAR data processing experience. Solid understanding of point cloud formats (LAS, LAZ, E57, RCP), Knowledge of coordinate systems, projections and geodetic datums. Good written & verbal communication in English/Hindi
