Position: Teacher - Librarian
Reporting Manager: Head of School
Key Responsibilities
- Library Management
- Manage and organize the school library and its resources.
- Maintain proper classification, cataloguing, and shelving of books.
- Ensure the library environment is clean, quiet, and conducive to reading.
- Book & Resource Management
- Maintain records of all books, journals, magazines, and digital resources.
- Issue and receive books from students and staff.
- Keep track of overdue, lost, or damaged books.
- Promote Reading Culture
- Encourage students to develop reading habits.
- Organize reading programs, storytelling sessions, and book exhibitions.
- Guide students in selecting appropriate reading materials.
- Support Academic Activities
- Assist teachers and students in finding study materials and reference books.
- Support research and project work by providing relevant resources.
- Help integrate library resources with the school curriculum.
- Inventory & Procurement
- Maintain library inventory and records.
- Recommend new books, magazines, and digital resources for purchase.
- Assist in annual stock verification of library materials.
- Library Policies & Discipline
- Ensure students follow library rules and maintain discipline.
- Implement library usage policies and procedures.

Our Interview Process & Application For The Role
Our process is comprehensive to ensure we maintain quality throughout practices ensuring continuous improvements of Student Outcomes & Teacher Delivery Effectiveness.
Step 1: Application Submission (Please map the fields Section, Academics, Primary & Secondary Location correctly, rest of the things which are not applicable, please select NA or Not Applicable)
Generally, we screen profiles within 48 - 72 hours of submission. Due to high volumes, sometimes this can be slightly delayed.
Introductory Call with a HR member for Fitment covering your Experience & Impact
Step 2: Online Assessment to determine the Subject Proficiency and Online Demo. Right fit candidates would generally receive a virtual assessment to be completed within 48-72 hours of Step 1.
Step 3: In-Person round at School with Principal / Co-ordinator & Demo
Step 4: Technical Rounds with Senior member (HOS, Central Academic Team), if required
Step 5: Final Call with Senior HR member for closure & next steps.
