Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Librarian based in Lucknow. The Librarian will be responsible for maintaining the library’s collections, managing library services, cataloging and organizing materials, providing library instruction, and supporting the educational and research needs of students and faculty. The role involves implementing effective library management practices and fostering a welcoming environment for library users.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Library Services and Library Management
- Familiarity with Library Science and Metadata concepts
- Ability to provide Library Instruction and support to students and faculty
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in using library-related software and technology
- Master’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Experience in an educational environment is an advantage
