Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for a Librarian. The Librarian will oversee day-to-day library operations, manage library inventory, maintain and catalog metadata, and provide library instruction to students and staff. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the library's digital and physical resources are organized and accessible and assisting users with research and reference services.Maintaining AICTE & University Compliances.
Qualifications
- MLIS/BLIS in Library Science, Information Studies, or a related field
- Proficiency in Library Services and Library Management
- Strong understanding of Library Science.
- Experience in Library Instruction and providing user support
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cataloging systems and classification standards
- Familiarity with emerging library technologies and digital resources is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in an academic environment
Salary : Between Rs 15,000/- to Rs 20,000/- per month.
Location of Work : Newtown, Action Area -III , Kolkata
