Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Librarian at our Hyderabad campus. The Librarian will be responsible for overseeing library services, organizing and managing resources, and maintaining an efficient library system. Responsibilities include cataloging, managing metadata, conducting library instruction sessions, and assisting students and faculty in accessing and utilizing library resources. The Librarian will also play a key role in promoting a culture of reading and lifelong learning among the school community.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Library Services and Library Management
- Experience in Library Science and Metadata organization
- Strong skills in Library Instruction and providing guidance on library resources
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or a closely related field
- Experience in an academic or school library setting is an advantage
- Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and learning-focused environment
