PROFILE OF A LIBERTY HILL ISD EDUCATOR
Liberty Hill ISD Educators are compassionate leaders, effective collaborators, adaptable thinkers,

PRIMARY PURPOSE
Ensure campus and district compliance with federal, state, and local requirements related to the
education of Emergent Bilingual students. Support and monitor LPAC processes, documentation,
and timelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Serve as a resource to campus
staff by providing guidance, training, and support on LPAC procedures, data management, and
program requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
● Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
● Valid Texas Teacher Certificate (EC-6)
● ESL Certification required (or Bilingual Supplemental - Spanish Certification)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
● Knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local laws, guidelines and procedures
● Knowledge of current research in Bilingual/ESL instruction
● Bilingual or ESL teaching experience required
● Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
● Demonstrate strong collaborative skills
● Comprehensive understanding of effective instruction and evaluation methodologies.
● Proficiency in using technology as a learning tool across all content areas, with the ability to
instruct teachers using a variety of technology applications and platforms.
● Skill in engaging in collective inquiry, problem-solving, and data-driven analysis to enhance
student learning outcomes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
LPAC Compliance and Processes
● Monitor and support accurate coding and documentation of Emergent Bilingual students in
student information systems and PEIMS
● Ensure accurate coding and maintenance of LPAC records, including identification,
placement, accommodations, parent notifications, and student records
● Review and verify required documentation for TELPAS, program entry/exit, and
reclassification
● Collaborate with campus staff to correct errors and ensure data accuracy
● Compile and submit required district and state reports related to Emergent Bilingual
programs
● Assist campuses in preparing for audits, monitoring, and data submissions
Documentation and Data Management
● Monitor and support accurate coding and documentation of Emergent Bilingual students in
district systems
● Ensure proper maintenance of LPAC records, including identification, placement,
accommodations, and parent communication

● Collaborate with campus and district staff to ensure testing processes align with LPAC
requirements
● Assist with summer and beginning-of-year LPAC processes, including extended calendar
responsibilities as assigned
Training and Support
● Provide training and ongoing support to campus staff on LPAC procedures, compliance
requirements, and documentation expectations
● Serve as a resource for administrators and staff on LPAC-related questions and processes
● Partner with Teaching and Learning and EB Instructional Coaches to ensure alignment
between compliance and instructional practices
● Maintain clear communication with LPAC members, district personnel, students, and
parents through available technology.
